It comes with 4 tools: blow drier, wide brush and two curling brushes. The old Remington Volume & Curl airstyler had 5 tools and a set of hair clips, but this new one is still a win because it’s brushes are much better. This is the blow drying tool, great for using with a separate brush of your preference. I use it by itself.
This is the small curling brush. It has a lot of bristles, I haven’t use it because I am afraid my hair will get stuck in them since they are so dense.
The wide curl brush has a major advantage: you can retract the bristles!
It has a little switch that you slide to the right and that retracts the bristles. You do have to keep your finger on it for them to stay inside, I wish they would have made a locked switch for it.
It gives you beautiful bouncy curls!
My favourite one of them is the wide brush. It blowdries and straightens your hair at the same time and because of it’s round shape you can turn your ends however you like.
I will definitely be using this very often because it gives me the exact look I get with my flatiron, but with less damage.As I was saying, this is less harmful (but it’s still a hot tool though) for your hair because it just blows hot air on it and you can choose the intensity or you can even opt for a cold air blowdry. However, I did notice damaging after a couple of weeks.
The snowflake setting blows cooler air, not cold though, it is somewhat warm.
To change the brushes you just push this pretty pink button and your current brush can be removed.
