Here comes the disappointment from the moment we opened the box we have had nothing but problems. The charger didn't work for us to put the first charge on the tablet before we set it up. After that we had problems with setting up the Wi-Fi. The screen kept freezing up and that is very frustrating. The power stopped turning the tablet on and off. The battery life couldn't possibly be worse, it took around 6 hours to charge for an hour of use. It has no parental controls the children are allowed to access the internet with no limits. The apps wouldn't download in a timely manner. This purchase has to be one of the biggest wastes of money. Was this review helpful?Yes (36)No (6)ReportNot the best tablet2/26/2016Average rating:2out of5stars, based onreviews2/26/2016by MammaJonesMy 3 year old was given this by a grandparent for Christmas 2 months ago. He loves having a tablet but things about this one are very frustrating. 1st, I do like the parental controls to limit access to apps, not allow purchases and control play time. The kids profile is very easy to use and find the apps he likes. But many of the pre installed apps are trials and only allow a little play without purchasing the full app. It was time consuming going through all of them to figure out what was appropriate for his age. Since he can't read I had to get rid of a lot. Installing and giving permissions for new apps is time consuming. And the motion apps don't really work great. The camera is horrible. 2nd, it is really, really, really, slow to boot up. Like, I'm waiting for my grandma's Windows 95 computer to boot up 15 years ago slow. And it doesn't always start up the first time. It can take many times to finally get it on. All this while dealing with a frustrated 3 year old. 3rd, it's been pretty sturdy. My son had thrown it and stepped on it and it hadn't cracked. Overall I would choose a different kid tablet next time. Was this review helpful?Yes (14)No (7)ReportRead all reviews
