She is 13 months old, and it is just perfect for her age. It has "book" flaps, buttons to push, a key to turn, animal sounds, music, a light-up spinner, and a door on the back with a picture behind it that changes every time that she opens or closes it. The two little "drivers" that are enclosed in the front of the bus have wacky, maniacal faces. She's a little young to notice that, though, which is probably just as well. The only complaint is that the music and sounds are a little bit too loud. I was able to fix this easily by placing a small piece of duck tape over the speaker, which is located under the bus. There is an on-off switch, but there is no volume control. All-in-all, this toy was a huge hit with my toddler. Was this review helpful?Yes (10)No (1)ReportCute bus, very colorful10/2/2015Average rating:5out of5stars, based onreviews10/2/2015by 1cookielady ?Spark reviewer - received free productI didn't know what the recommended age range for the school bus was when I chose it. After I received it I see that the age range starts from 12 months and up. It's a little too young for my two grand dudes Logan age 4 1/2 and Aiden just turned 3. The bus measures 9 1/2 long, 5 1/2 in height and the widest point 4 1/2 wide. Underneath the bus are two switches, one to make the car move and the other for the musical and sound part of it. Made of what seems to be pretty durable plastic. Very colorful with moving parts on all sides of the bus. Starting from the top of the bus is what resembles a book. The book has pictures of cute little animals. On the left page are three buttons shaped like a star, heart, and a circle. On the right page there are only two buttons shaped like a square and a triangle. There is only one page that can be turned. Press a button next to an animal and it will make a sound that matches the animal. For example if I press the star next to the goat, it will make a baa sound like a goat. There is a blue rectangular button on top of the truck, press this button and the head lights flash and it will play "The horn on the bus will go beep beep beep." On one side of the bus are four faces with different expressions. Two on top two on the bottom. There are two plastic pages with an outline of some animals that flip over to either sides of the faces. On the hood of the care is a thing that looks like a drum laying on its side with pictures of some animals. If you make it roll it starts playing several tunes and pretty loud. The back of the bus has a door, a button shaped like a bell and a knob that you turn. Press the white bell and it will sound like a door bell. Turn the blue knob and it will pop open the back door. There is a picture of some animals when the door opens, close the door and the picture changes. On the other side of the bus are four wheels with a knob attached to one of the wheels. Turn the knob and all the wheels turn around and around. Switch on the yellow button underneath the bus and it makes the bus move. Besides the four standard wheels there is a circle with two wheels on it. This part swivels and is what makes the bus move away from anything it runs into such as the wall or a piece of furniture. This feature is very nice. As the bus is moving the two people inside the cab are also swaying from side to side. Very cute. Although the bus may be for younger children more for babies to maybe age 2 to 2 1/2 Logan and Aiden are enjoying having fun playing with it. The bus is well made, colorful and sturdy. Not
