This can be done using a #1 size Phillips head screwdriver. Tighten the screws so that they are snug. Do not overtighten the screws.To start using your reacher, just follow the 1-2-3 steps:
* Use one hand to grip the handle assembly
* Position the jaws firmly over or around the object to be reached and retrieved
* Squeeze the moveable pull handle until the jaws close around the object to be retrieved. Apply enough squeeze pressure to the pull handle so that the item stays firm in the jaws. Items in the jaws may be brought to your free hand or placed on a counter or other surface.
