Multivitamins are supplements that contains at least 3 or more vitamins and/or minerals in amounts that are below tolerable upper limits established by the Office of Dietary Supplements to help ensure that the body''s nutrient needs are met and risks of health conditions associated with specific nutrient deficiencies are minimized. Most commercially available multivitamin supplements feature vitamins either as (1) synthetic isolates, which include vitamins created wholly in a lab from industrial chemicals and solvents; (2) cultured/fermented nutrients, which are created by taking synthetic vitamin isolates and making them more bioavailable by culturing them in nutritional yeast and/or probiotics; and/or (3) whole-food/food-based nutrients, which are full-spectrum concentrates of vitamins from natural food sources (e.g. herbs, fruits, spices, & vegetables). Women''s Multi Gold is a synergistic complex of whole-food nutrients extracted from certified organic fruits, vegetables, and herbs along with fermented nutrients grown in a food matrix that includes nutritional yeast and other vital nutrients like superoxide dismutase (SOD), CoQ10, complex carbohydrates (beta-1, 3-glucans and mannans), dietary fiber, and glutathione. Women''s Multi Gold does NOT contain any vitamins or minerals in the isolated, synthetic form, is manufactured to quality standards that far exceed current GMPs and is verified by independent, third-party labs to meet identity, purity, and potency label claims.
