Used it for a weekend trip to Leo Carillo's beach. The powerlight is versatile and create a nice ambience when you use the sitelights. I got the full set called the nanogrid. It has the powerlight and two sitelights. The smaller sitelighs run off of the battery in the powerlight and daisy chain. We strung them up between two trees perfectly over the camping table. The neat thing is that you can hang them over head so you don't get the bright hotspot in the middle of the table like you do with a lot of other lanterns. This way you can still look across the table without blinded.
Both sitelights and the powerlight are plenty bright. We used them on half power most of the time. At night we unplugged the powerlight and used the lantern in the tent. It has a focused torch on the bottom that's handy when you walk on a trail too.
I even use it sometimes in the city when I forget to charge my phone. If the light is charged I just grab it and charge my phone on the go. Now I just have to remember to charge this battery instead... ; )

I love this light. The lantern and flashlight are nice, but my favorite part is the daisy chain site lights. Definitely get those! Great around camp, but I also use it to light up my back deck when we have people over. I like the dimming feature - makes a good nightlight for my kids in the evening. Very helpful that I can charge my phone and iPad.
