This is by far the best cleansing oil in the market. I have tried so many brands but none compared to this one. This is light and silky, not too thick nor too thin/watery. It emulsifies quickly with water and rinses clean without leaving an oily residue behind. It has a very light Japanese rose scent which doesn't bother me. I use this to rid my face of dirt, grime and my waterproof sunscreen which I re-apply throughout the day. It's so easy to use: I take 2 pumps of this cleansing oil onto my dry hands and apply it to my (dry) face. I take a few drops of water and emulsify it (it turns milky) then rinse. Sometimes, depending on how (lazy) I am, I just use this to cleanse and not need to use SK-II FT Gentle Cleanser. I have combination skin and it's very difficult to find a cleanser that is strong enough for the oilier areas of my face yet gentle enough for the drier areas. The treatment oil is able to get every trace of makeup and dirt off my face, even waterproof mascara, without making it feel tight and dry after. I usually use a toner after cleaning my face and this is the only cleanser I've used that shows no trace of dirt on my toner pad after. Just 2 pumps of the oil is enough to clean my face, even though the directions say to use 3-4, so this large bottle will last me a long while and worth the investment! It has a light rose fragrance, which is a scent that I would normally associate with grandmothers but its not cloying and the scent washes away after you rinse the oil off. I would definitely purchase this after I finish my current bottle and would recommend to friends! When I tried SK-II oil cleanser I first noticed the flowery but clean smell and lightweight feel. It is seriously the lightest cleanser I have used. I massage it into my skin with water to stimulate the skin as well as work to break up my waterproof makeup. Especially now in the summer I need extra help to clean my skin of sunscreen, waterproof makeup and powders. When I rinse I often use a warm washcloth to make sure I'm getting rid of all the dirt and product. I feel like my pores are left incredibly clean and my skin is soft and smooth without feeling dry and without any oil or product residue at all! It has really helped with my skin in the summer that is prone to more breakouts with the extra product I wear and extra oil and sweat my skin produces. I just love the job it does and how clean it leaves my skin! I would definitely recommend it!
