Product Description

The Kimberly Clark Jackson Safety 20307 ANSI Class 3 polyester ensemble rain jacket has fluorescent yellow-green background material and silver retroreflective trim to distinguish the wearer from the environment for roadway workplace safety. It meets the ANSI/ISEA (American National Standard Institute/International Safety Equipment Association) 107-2004 standard for High-Visibility Safety Apparel and Headwear Class 3 specifications for high-visibility garments. This jacket provides 360 degree visibility with two horizontal retroreflective bands encircling the torso and arms, and it has two vertical trim bands at each shoulder that provide human form definition to help identify workers. This machine-washable polyester outer shell is waterproof to keep the wearer dry in the rain, and has underarm vents for air circulation and cooling. It has two outside front pockets with storm flaps that can be snapped closed, and one inside pocket. Snap closure on sleeve cuffs reduce the space around the wrists to help keep out wind and rain. The hood can be stowed in the collar when not needed.

Luminescent and reflective safety apparel helps increase the visibility of pedestrians, runners, motorcyclists, road workers, and others in dimly lit or hazardous environments. The apparel is used for a number of safety, industrial, and military applications. As of 2008, high-visibility safety apparel is required by the Federal Highway Administration for all workers who are exposed to traffic or construction equipment within the right of way of a Federal-aid highway.
