I read the directions and followed them to a tee. I started with my shins and I expected it to hurt a lot, and it really didn't hurt at all the only area that hurt was around my knees. I got my shins done and it was messy, not goopy messy, just there was a lot of left over wax on my legs that made it very messy and you only get 4 perfect finishing wipes which is not enough, but if you do buy this buy baby oil too it will get all the left over wax off. After I did my shins there was still a lot of hair left on my legs. I couldn't see the hair but I cound feel it and keep in mind it took me an hour and half, and there was still hair there. I continued too work on my thighs and got though them and it took me anothere hour and a half and there was still hair left, plus a lot of wax. Overall I think I will stick with shaving my legs. Was this review helpful?Yes (22)No (9)ReportIT'S AS EASY AS ITS NAME6/2/2013Average rating:5out of5stars, based onreviews6/2/2013by Zo0mZo0mZo0mI purchased mine on saturday in the store and after reading all the negative reviews I was skeptical, but nonetheless willing top give it a try. The good reviews were great and the bad reviews were misleading! THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT! Yes it takes an extended period of time to heat up, but ALL WAX does, especially professional wax. What's so hard about plugging it in a safe spot leaving it for 45 minutes and coming back to wax? Are we americans that impatient? YES! lol Anyway, people are waxing improperly and getting poor results. If you have full strips of left over wax on your skin.... you pulled the strip wrong and i'm sure it hurt. THIS WILL BE STICKY (FOR THE OBVIOUS REASON... YOU'RE USING WAX) BUT IT'S NOT MESSY. Have baby oil or mineral oil available to minimize the stickiness of your fingers. I waxed my legs and hairs and it was quite a positive experience and lacking there of pain when done as instructed. Arms are tricky since you have no other hand to hold the skin taunt, but it's mostly doable. PLEASE don't let the rookies scare you off from the best waxing product we have now on the shelves. Was this review helpful?Yes (33)No (0)ReportNot worth trying5/28/2013Average rating:1out of5stars, based onreviews5/28/2013by TalbottTennesseanI purchased this product at my local WalMart store. I am disappointed. As the other review states, it says it takes 30 minutes to prepare, but mine never seemed to get warm enough, therefore it would not come out very well and was almost too thick to roll on. What I did get on my legs, it took over an hour to try to accomplish one leg and even then it would not take the hair off after following directions exactly. Another problem is the cord is really too short. If you were to unplug it, I do not imagine it would work at all considering plugged in it still didn't get hot enough. Each time I picked it up to rub on another spot the cord would pull out of the unit. The absolute worst thing though was that when I did one area, I applied the wax, rubbed the strip as directed and pulled off quickly. When I pulled the strip off I was bleeding and my skin was literally black/bluish/purple bruised!!! I Immediately packaged up the product after all that and am taking it to WalMart for my money back STAT!Was th
