DVI stand for digital video interface (sometimes digital visual interface) and is a video interface standard used on digital displays ranging from LCD Computer monitors and high-definition televisions to digital projectors. DVI-D， one of three types of DVI connections， is the only fully digital DVI connection， as the DVI standard supports both analog and digital transfers.
