I washed them first, and they came out perfect. No pilling or shrinking. They are reinforced in the toe and heel but have a bit of spandex throughout the sock which helps it keep it's shape. Nothing worse than playing tennis and the heel of your sock starts to creep down into your shoe. My son wears this low cut style in a famous brand sock. He tried on a pair of these and asked me "are these for me?" I gave him one of the pairs. I have had some surgery on my foot. I have to wear a boot for a while. I put this sock on my foot with the boot over it and my foot is so comfortable now, protected, an soft. I love that I can wear them all day and I don't get that 'shoe odor'. They are thick, but not too thick that they fit tight in your shoe. They are made with poly and cotton, so they let your foot breathe. No more sweaty, smelly feet.I love these sock and would recommend them especially if you participate in active sports. These socks come in a pack of six (6) pairs and are very soft, warm, and cushiony. If you prefer to keep them in the package, it has a zip-lock seal for protection. Each sock has a threaded gray toe and heel area which provide great comfort. These are great for wearing to school, around the house, doing exercise, playing sports or simply lounging around.Even though they’re men socks, women can wear them too. I love the way they keep my feet warm and it’s not tight. The low-cut style is just below the ankle or right at the ankle. They are extremely comfortable; and do not hold any sweaty moisture; and are very easy to clean. You can pre-soak them in warm or cold water before wash to keep that neat, white, appearance. These socks are stretchable and come in a size 6-12. I would like to also see these athletic socks come in a larger pack of 10 or 12.
