Here we have a beautiful Panart kit: the San Felipe! Take home and recreate a stunning ship from European naval history! Built by the King of Spain in 1690, the San Felipe was Spain's most majestic fighting ships. The kit boasts a double plank on frame hull construction, with all woods laser cut for accuracy. It uses poplar plywood for framing, and basswood/African walnut for two layers of planking. This kit has a massive amount of ornamentation -2,783 pieces,which includes 110 machine -turned brass cannons. There are one hundred-eighty-five sculpted solid bronze ornaments, as well as countless others of Etched brass, copper and cast. The blocks and deadeyes are pre-finished walnut, and the kit is replete with eight sheets of plans and instructions to help you build a great model.
