The snap action basket when open measures 9.5" (24.1 cm) in diameter and folds up for easy storage. The silicone edges and feet help prevent scratches to your pots and pans and can be easily be removed with a fork or tongs. This steamer is BPA-Free, microwave safe, dishwasher safe and heat resistant to 600 degrees Fahrenheit.
