<br />This MB-D16 multi-power battery pack is for use with all Nikon digital cameras that lists the MB-D16 as a compatible accessory in the camera manual. The MB-D16 takes one EN-EL 15 rechargeable Li-ion battery or six AA batteries (alkaline, Ni-MH, or Lithium) and includes an alternate shutter-release button, AE-L/ AF-L button, multi se-lector, and main and sub-command dials for taking pictures in &ldquo;tall&rdquo; (portrait) orientation. Camera menu options allow the user to choose whether the camera battery or the batteries in the MB-D16 are used first; Please read the camera manual for details.
