Product Description

We will be releasing our 2nd generation Roost Smart 9V Battery for smoke alarms this fall. Our new device will be an improved version of our original release almost 2 years ago. With an updated electronics design, set-up and Wi-Fi connection speed will be easier, faster and more reliable. With reduced power consumption, we will also experience improved battery life in typical smoke alarms. Just like our original product, the Roost Smart Battery transforms your existing 9V smoke or CO alarm into a smart home device that will send notifications to your smart phone whenever your alarm sounds. Especially helpful when you are away from home. Simply download the Roost mobile app to enable set-up in your home. No more chirps at 3AM, since you will also receive notification weeks before the battery needs to be replaced. Less than 5 minutes to install with an added “monitor” feature to share the alert capability with family members and close friends. This is not your average 9V battery!
