Ear and Forehead Thermometer

Instruction for correc use!

Temperature measurement on forehead:

1. Clean the forehead (removing cream, perspiration, etc.)
2. Push the measuring attachment onto the sensor until it clicks on.
3. Press the "ON" button (acoustic signal) and press MEM for 2 sec. (Forehead Mode)
4. Apply the sensor tip or duotemp on the forehead above the right or left eye. Press the "ON" button. Press it for a futher 3 seconds. While doing this, move the thermometer over the temporal artery. You can now read off the measured value.

!CLEAN THE SENSOR AFTER EACH MEASUREMENT!

Temperature measurement in the ear:

1. Switch the unit on by pressing the "ON" button (acoustic signal)
2. Gently push the measuring sensor without the attachment into the auditory canal (directed at the ear drum)
3. Press the "ON" button for 1-2 seconds. After the blip, read the measurement.

!A DIRTY OR CURVED AUDITORY CANAL MAY AFFECT THE MEASUREMENT!
