The GE Z-Wave Auxiliary Switch 45610 (ZW2002) is designed to pass commands to the Primary switch-it does not control the load directly. The 45610 Auxiliary switch is for use with Primary switch model numbers 45609 and/or 45612 to expand each switch from a standalone 2-way circuit to a 3-way (or more) circuit allowing control of one light from two locations. The 45610 Auxiliary switch comes bundled inside the Model 45613 and 45614 switch kits and additional 45610 slaves can also be added to these kits to increase a circuit from 3-way to 4-way (or more) circuits thus allowing control of two lights from three locations (or more). Installation is a breeze. It is easily installed using the existing wiring in your home, but please be aware that a neutral wire is required for proper control. An LED indicator shows the switch location making it easily located in a darkened room. The GE 45610 (ZW2002) works with any Z-Wave enabled remote making it a great addition to any Z-Wave system regardless of manufacturer. It is designed to control CFL, LED, Xenon, Halogen, Fluorescent and Incandescent lighting - whatever type of light that the primary switch can control, the same light can be controlled by the auxiliary 45610 switch.
