Product Description
What Does UPF 50+ Mean? UPF, or, Ultraviolet Protection Factor is a rating system for measuring the degree of protection that a certain fabric provides. Ultraviolet rays represent a spectrum of sunlight energetic enough to harm human skin. A fabric with a UPF of 50 is dense enough to only let 1/50, or 2% of this dangerous radiation go through it. We Don''t Compromise On Protection 50+ is the highest Ultraviolet Protection Factor achieved in fabrics, to date. Staying out in the sun without a proper shade source may seem and feel harmless but sunburns or worse. Kids, especially very young ones, have a sensitive skin that is very vulnerable for sunlinght damage. Setup Tips: ? Position the poles to face the wind direction. For example, if the wind approaches from North, place the poles in the Northern side of the beach tent. ? Create as much space as possible between the poles. Setting the position of each pole correctly will result in more shaded area. ? Tilt the poles against the direction of the oncoming wind in order to withstand its force as much as possible. ? Fill the sand bags to their maximum capacity to support the tent''s anchoring and thus prevent it from ''flowing'' away during strong winds. ? When encountered by stronger winds, resort to digging the sand bags in the ground underneath their original position. ? In extreme weather situations, use the poles'' fabric cases to tie the poles to the sunshade in order to reinforce their connections. ? The beach tent''s structure is all about tension. Make sure to stretch the fabric and to press done on the poles. Increase the tension by maximizing the space between the poles, tilting them outwards against the wind direction and by securing the anchor bags as much as possible following the above guidelines.
