Product Description

The Simpson Strong-Tie ABU88Z with ZMAX coating is an adjustable post base for nominal size 8-inch by 8-inch post offers moisture protection and a finished hardware appearance. The ABU88Z features 1-inch standoff height above concrete floors which is code-required when supporting permanent structures that are exposed to the weather or water splash, or in basements. They reduce the potential for decay at post and column ends. The ZMAX feature provides an extra layer of protection from the elements.
