Twinlab’s Krill Essentials Omega-3 Cardio Krill Oil contains 100% Superba Pure Krill Oil, which has a unique and substantial offering of the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA in phospholipid form. This phospholipid form is more bioavailable than omega-3 triglycerides found in traditional fish oil products, because this phospholipid form of fatty acids closely resembles those found in the human brain, and is more easily recognized, incorporated and utilized by the body. Combined with the naturally occurring antioxidant astaxanthin, this phospholipid helps to prevent oxidation, which can lower the quality of omega-3 fatty acids from fish.
