But it was the only one I could find in these dimensions (not too thick, and longer). So I ordered it. And lo and behold, it did smell pretty bad! A chemically, formaldehyde smell. But I left it in the garden to off-gas for about four days and now it smells okay. And it is comfortable to sleep on. I had to take outside and spray with some Fabreze and leave in the sun for about 6 hours, and it still did n ot get rid of all the smell. Lying flat is misery. This wedge really helps. I woke up with much less pain. I had been sleeping in my recliner prior to this because I just couldn't lay flat. The only minor criticism I have is that it tends to slide around somewhat on the mattress.
