My child had I think the best costume this year and everyone said so. The problem with the costume first of all is the size. The size states M(8-10) and I can tell you it fits my 6 years old perfectly so the size should be S(5-6). My second issue are the head and face area. My son's head would not fit into the opening where the head goes so I took the adjuster off thinking it would work but it did not. I just did some cutting here and there hoping not to ruin the costume but my son's head finally fit in. I also cut the face area to fit my son's face because the opening was so small and constricting. I actually ruined the face area because I cut too much and air were escaping, therefore made the t-rex's head very limp. I used tape to close the cut to trap the air inside but it did not work, maybe a little. The thing that did work was a pony tail holder and I am sure a rubber band would work better. We found this costume a little cheaper then other places so we went ahead and bought it online. After submitting payment, we read the reviews which stated the costume is not suitable for kids younger than 6 because the head space was too small. After getting the costume at home and reading the directions, that is not the case. I feel most customers who purchased this costume did not read the directions. I thought the face piece went at the hair line to be "suctioned" to the face. When in reality the hole for the head goes over the neck like a hoodie. This product definitely withstood the test! I purchase a child costume and an adult one to use for my son's 3 year party. We were running in weeds, over rocks, and on dirt. The costume tail was rubbing he floor the whole time but never got ruined. The air pump it has inflates the costume fairly quickly and keeps you cool while wearing it. Myself and my 3 year old had no complaints about being too warm wearing it. Great buy!
