Pros: immersion, comfort, quality

Cons: overheating, battery life, resolution, lens fog

After trying the Google cardboard I was blown away by how much better in every respect the Gear VR is. The sense of immersion, overall quality and comfort of this design is far superior. The main issues would be the following:

First, overheating: this is a big problem if you want to play any 3D games. I can hardly get through more than 15 minutes of Herobound. Perhaps a future model could have built in fans or something. Second, battery life: this will drain your battery faster than you can imagine. And third, this will be much better if the next Note phone has a 4K screen. Even though the Note 4 has a great resolution for a phone, when you're looking at it that close and magnified the resolution is very pixelated.

Outside of that I think this is the best VR headset on the market by leaps and bounds. Everyone I've shown it to has been overwhelmed with how amazing it is. One last note, I would recommend getting some anti-fog wipes for the lenses, they do fog up very quick.

Cons: heats up fast when running multiple apps.

Just bought it. Love it! Great interaction. Love the content But needs more. Trying to find the controoler to play some of the games. Noboby has the samsung controller in stock anywhere. Lets keep these apps and content coming.

Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

I'll admit this is a product in its infancy, heck, that's built right into the innovator edition title... But wow. For oculus cinema alone, it's worth it, letting you watch even 3d movies on your face, but feeling like you are somewhere else entirely. No description can do it justice, only experiencing it. If you own a Note 4 already, GET ONE. Sure, there will be better versions sooner or later, but for something you can get right now, this exists, and it's amazing. Warning: tearing up during an emotional scene in one of your favourite movies while viewing in the oculus cinema will fog up the lenses.

Pros: simple straight forward operation

It works perfectly on my T-MOBILE Note 4 (Which I got for the Gear VR)! I have not been disappointed at all. Well polished interface, smooth motion tracking. A little pricey but there is simply no competition yet. It's a hit with all my coworkers who call it a game changer. It's all exponentially uphill from here, with added content and resolution improvements, yet this is impressive for a first run, pre-consumer product!
