About Bamboo

Bamboo fibre was made by crushing the woody parts of the bamboo plant and then use alkaline water to break the bamboo walls into a mushy mass so that the natural fibres can be mechanically combed out and spun into yarn. Naturally bamboo viscose fabrics have a unique antibacterial quality due to an antimicrobial bio-agent called "bamboo kun” which is found in living bamboo fibre.
