How it works

The LTX series infrared thermometers measure the temperature of any object, by sensing the amount of infrared (invisible light) energy emitted by it, hence they do not require any contact, and can be used from a safe or convenient distance from the measured object.

ThermoSounder LTX12 and LTX14 only

• A reference temperature is set by pointing at the object to measure and pressing the trigger
• Higher than set reference temperature generates a fast beeping
• Lower than set reference temperature generates a slow beeping
• Precise temperature readings are also available in the LCD display at all times
