Open the instrument behind the battery cover， and put on four 1.5V batteries (note the positive and negative level). Remove the short circuit plug electrode socket on the instrument， plug electrodes. Note electrode plugs prior to use should be kept clean and dry， and avoid contamination.
Press the power key， warm up for 5 minutes.
Calibration Instruments
Special Note: The instrument must be used 4.00，6.86，9.18 three standard calibration buffer solution.
Prior to pH measurement， we first need to calibrate the instrument. To obtain accurate measurements， the calibration of the standard buffer solution should ensure that accurate and reliable.
Power， press the "switch" key to boot.
Short-circuit protection cover unscrew pH socket， access plastic pH combination electrode， the electrode wash and dry it in pure water.
PH buffer solution with a thermometer to measure temperature， press the increase key "∧" or reduce key "∨" to adjust the temperature value of accurate LCD display.
Positioning calibration: The pH electrode into pH6.86 buffer， still a little agitated after placement， after the test values stabilize， hold the "Cal" key， when LCD displays CAL symbol liberalized， the first display flashes 6.86， End symbol is displayed after a few seconds and then display the pH calibration value (which now displays the pH value varies with temperature， for example， display 6.86，15C ---25C， when these are on display 7.04-chip set value， the same below). It represents the completion of the calibration and memory.
Slope calibration I: PH electrode removed， washed with pure water and dry it， and then the PH electrode immersed pH4.00 buffer， still a little agitated after placement， after the test values stabilize， hold the "Cal" key does not put， when the LCD displays CAL symbol liberalized， first blinking 4.00， End symbol is displayed after a few seconds and then display the pH calibration value indicating the calibration and memory. Upon completion of the calibration will be automatically displayed in the slope of the linear electrodes percentage segment.
Slope calibration II: Remove the pH electrode， washed with pure water and dry it， and then the PH electrode immersed pH9.18 buffer， still a little agitated after placement， after the test values stabilize， hold the "Cal" key does not put， when the LCD displays CAL symbol liberalized， first blinking 9.18， End symbol is displayed after a few seconds and then display the pH calibration value indicating the calibration and memory.
