There are no building instructions. It comes with two disks and they do not have the building instructions. There are instructions online, but not for this set. Very aggravating! We emailed the company but have not heard back yet. I cannot find it on the Walmart.com. If we ever get the instructions, we will review it again. I really want to build this. I might be wrong about this, but, hunted all over the internet. With that being said, let your mind run free and create your own things!! This set shows you the schematics of the electronical components, to create. This is an excellent teaching tool for children and adults alike. It tells you the components for each design that they have already created, just an idea of what you can do. We want our children to grow up and create something amazing, well, this is the beginning of that amazing stuff. We built the fan from side view and front view pictures. Our 13 year old daughter is working on something amazing, her own creation. I am not allowed to know what yet! I had problems getting the software to work properly with my windows 8.1, but, not with the kids computer that runs on vista. So, the kids get all control over anything they want to build. There is software and directions that help with the electrical connections and you can also write your own program with this set up. Guys, this package is the beginning to your child becoming something more than you ever thought. This teaches your kids to think for themselves and think outside of the box and become your own person, and, let your creativeness run wild. Our world is computers, give your child a headstart in becoming something special by letting that creativeness run wild. This would be an awesome system for a teacher to show the basics of electronics to their students and let them grow and go further than just the basics, start creating on their own. The software helps to create. This is a must have for your childrens future to flourish right before your eyes. PS, my 5 year old daughter is in the process of being taught these basics, kids are never to young to learn. I don't go by the age of 8 and up, I go by what they can be taught.
