In my teens my skin was oily, then in my 20's it started to lean towards combo. Now in my early 30's I feel like it's leaning towards the dry side, but not quite considered dry yet. My skin is also acne prone and sensitive. I really like this moisturizer as a basic moisturizer after a good basic cleanser. I tried the sensitive skin cleanser, but I feel like that combined with this moisturizer was too much and would have resulted in break outs. I use the neutrogena naturals clarify cleanser and then this moisturizer on still damp skin. The ingredients in the burts bees cleansers I looked at didn't really appeal to me. At night I combine this moisturizer with evanhealy's rose hip serum. I can see why this would be heavy and break out causing if your not using a good cleanser before applying. The ingredients are not irritation causing, but they are on the heavier side in my opinion. Overall I really like this moisturizer a lot more than I thought I would. I've used so many high end products that just caused more problems like breakouts, greasiness and even hives! All of the moisturizers that I have have spent a fortune on, made me always breakout. I think they did nothing but clog my pores - so for awhile I was using no moisturizers, not even at night.I'm 65, and I made sure I used this product for weeks before rating it. I'm very pleased with this product. It is not greasy under my foundation as with all the other moisturizers I've tried, and no breakouts, no dryness, no ultra sticky - tacky greasiness. Towards mid-day I would start to look like I had Vaseline under my makeup with other moisturizers because my face would become so greasy. I cannot believe I found something this great in a simple natural line of skin care. I have been using it for a week and it makes my face so oily and shiny using it alone and with the application of my foundation. I have dry skin and thought it would help, but ended up too oily and it made my face break out. The areas where I broke out feels tingly.
