The Edelbrock 4-barrel Carburetor Spacer is made from high-tech phenolic plastic, which has excellent heat insulating properties. This spacer should be used whenever more plenum volume or more carburetor-to-plenum distance is required. They allow you to space your carburetor above the intake flange to increase plenum area for more top-end torque and horsepower. It can withstand extreme temperatures and dampens reversion effect on the carburetor.
