    Our formula contains a super high concentration of 70% Omega-3 fatty acids, providing 980 mg from 1400 mg of fish oil. While regular strength fish oils typically contain 300 mg of Omega-3s from 1000 mg of fish oil, our formula undergoes additional purification steps to concentrate these essential fats while removing unwanted compounds, such as mercury. Omega-3 fatty acids are beneficial for joint health and help maintain triglyceride levels already within a normal range.†

  • While we can produce EPA and DHA from a fatty acid known as ALA, our bodies have a very limited capacity to synthesize these omega-3s.† This is why fish oil is highly recommended.

  • What are the Benefits?

    The omega-3 fatty acids found within fish oil are essential for various functions within the body.† One of the main benefits of Omega-3s from fish is for heart and circulatory health.† Omega-3s support heart health by helping maintain triglyceride levels already within a normal range and by promoting healthy blood flow.† Omega-3s also help to regulate the production of molecules that can affect joint health, and are important for the skin as well.†

  • What are the Best Food Sources?

    Not all fish are good sources of omega-3 fatty acids. If you are looking to increase omega-3 intake through the diet, it is important to choose fatty fish such as salmon, mackerel and sardines.

  • How much should I take?

    For triglyceride support, approximately 900 mg of omega-3s from fish is recommended.† While studies have been conducted on various amounts of fish oil, The American Heart Association recommends consuming between 500 to 1800 mg of EPA and DHA per day for overall heart health.† When reading labels, the supplement facts box will list the total amount of fish oil as well as the amounts of EPA and DHA underneath, which are sometimes grouped together as total omega-3s. The most important factor to consider is the omega-3 amounts.

    The maximum amount of fish oil you should consume from supplements each day depends on how much fatty fish is eaten in the diet. In general, it is recommended not to consume more than 2 grams of omega-3s from fish per day.
