Made from Black and White fine combed wool, woven into a classic Herringbone pattern. The pattern itself dates back to the Roman Empire, where it was used in everything from road pavers to clothing textiles. For us at Melin, we chose a Black and White weave as an ode of respect to history but also to cultural diversity and the vast amount of unique and different backgrounds we all come from. When we are unified, we are much stronger. Much like this Herringbone material, when we blend together, it creates a noticeable and visible harmony.
