S if that is what you are looking for don't by them. I bought them because of the price (reasonable) I was dissatisfied with the painting and glazing on some of the pieces. (The edge/trim paint was not complete on all sides, the same with the glaze) I will just be mindful with these pieces and not put those in the microwave. ( I can't be bothered to send those pieces back) They do set a table nice and add style to my meals. They have survived hand washing, dishwasher and microwaving. (I haven't tried them in the oven yet). Besides the fact that I like the color and shape. It was the price that got me. The red is darker because I brought the initial set of Better homes and gardens but still a great match. It was exactly what I was looking for, shipment excellent and all plates were intact. We also bought the matching dinner plates and bowls. I like that you can purchase these items separate from a set because we didn't want the coffee cups. We were able to buy 8 each of the dessert plates, dinner plates, and the bowls.
