Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: What is the difference between dtac and TrueMove?
A: dtac has slightly better coverage in rural areas of Thailand. In the city/metro areas, they are both pretty much the same. If travelling to only city/metro area, we recommend using TrueMove because its cheaper and there are free TrueMove H WiFi Hotspots to use :)

Q: What if I need more than 7 days?
A: Simply topup your SIM Card at a convenience store or the Telco's shop, then buy another data package for the number of days that you require!

Q: Why is the speed capped at 42mbps and you claim 4G network?
A: All of Thailand's Tourist SIMs that are on an "Unlimited" Plan are capped at 42mbps - you can verify this on the respective telco website yourself (check the fine print). The card will still reflect that you are on a 4G network when you are there, but realistically the speed is capped. We are simply being transparent and putting it upfront to you instead of hiding it in the fine print.
