Why Is It Referred To As Organic Sulfur?
Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is the chemical name for organic sulfur the same way that H2O is the chemical name for water. Both the US NIH and FDA also use the terms organic sulfur and MSM synonymously.

How Is Our Sulfur Made?
Our MSM is derived from DMSO, a liquid form of sulfur. When oxygen is combined with DMSO, in our case hydrogen peroxide, it separates the active sulfur out in a crystal form as a new chemical element called Methylsulfonylmethane. It is then run through a four stage distillation process to ensure product purity and quality. The end stage of this process leaves you with a sulfur crystal that is 99.9% pure.
