It is just beautiful above our fireplace mantel, and is the focal point of the living room. I really like the fact that the face of the clock is a neutral parchment-type ivory color and matches our room perfectly, and the "see-through" nature of the outside ivy trim allows the wall color to show through .The rustic iron design in brown and rust provides the perfect amount of contrast and makes it stand out. We have not had it long enough to provide a rating on the clock's reliability, but it is well-made and has so far provided accurate time.
