A : 1 year Warranty for Door Closer. 3 months for handyman service.

What kind of door can the door closer be installed on? Or is there any that cannot be installed?
A : Please send us the picture of the door to our email at handyman@selffix.com and we'll verify and get back to you.
How long does the installation take?
A : Installation usually within 1 - 2 hours.
If i want to remove and replace my current one, is there extra charge?
A : No charges to remove the current one. You'll only be charged for the installation of the new one.
There are 3 methods of installation : Regular Arm/ Top Jamb/ Parallel Arm, will you be able to come for site viewing and recommend the best method for my door or you only have 1 standard type of installation?
A : Site visit can be arranged. A $20 transportation charges will be imposed. Able to installed all the 3 methods.
Will the door closer rust? any maintenance or prevention tips?
A : Yes, the door closer will get rusty. In order to maintain it, spray anti rust every 3 months.
Do you repair door closers?
A : No, we do not repair door closer.
Is there bulk discounts if i install more than 1 door closer?
A : Yes, please email us at handyman@selffix.com and we will provide you with the necessary quotation.
Must i provide ladder for the installation?
A : Ladder is not needed, just a high chair for installation.
if the installation wasn't done properly, can i ask the handyman back to rectify?
A : Yes, if the installation is done within the 3 months warranty period.
Is the door closers adjustable? If yes, will the handyman adjust for me?
A : Yes, our handyman will adjust to your satisfaction after installing the door closer.
Is there any certificates or warranties for the door closers?
A : Please keep your receipt as proof for the product purchase of 1 year warranty.
Will there be any need of drilling for the installation?
A : Yes, need to drill for installation.
