I have an 11 yr old German Shepard who is deathly afraid of my wood flooring, he needs rugs to walk on to get around the house. All of the rugs i have purchased (20) slide around on the floor and he looses his footing. These rugs stay in place so i am buying enough to make a walkway for him around the house. Instead of having all different shapes and sizes and colors of rugs looking like a hot mess, I will have a consistent pathway for him to walk on. Although they questioned the integrity of the rug if washed, don't. My dog prefers this rug to her bed, so she constantly sheds on it, so it is washed weekly. I have had it almost 3 years. It is fabulous! We purchased the shade in Grey Flannel and it's darker than the image provided. Just FYI for those looking for a medium gray shade - this one is darker. Still, the quality is wonderful considering the cost. Good job Mainstays. These are very plush and cushiony. This doesn't slip/slide on our ceramic floor tiles. The ends are stitched quite nicely and securely too. Good value. I never thought to throw it in the dryer and I never once washed it. It says it's washable but I thought the integrity would be lost. I'm going to buy another one. The previous lasted approximately one year before a slight odor.
