Morning and night, I look forward to using the smooth, silky, rich lather to cleanse my face and neck of dirt, grime and waterproof sunscreen. It does the job well of cleansing without the harsness and drying effects of soap. A small pea-sized amount gives you a billowy lather that doubles as a shaving foam. As for the Japanese Rose scent, I'm not a big fan but it's light enough that it's of no discernible concern. All in all, I'm happy with it. I am finding it cleans very gently with a luxurious lather and removes all of my make-up/sunscreen. The SK-II Facial Treatment Cleanser has been in my morning and evening skin routine for the past few weeks and I have extremely sensitive skin that is also combination and prone to break outs from almost anything and this cleanser has been wonderful for my skin. My skin has changed a lot in my 30's, make up, sun damage, lack of sleep, stress, hormones, pollution, and climate change with the seasons in Louisiana all offset the balance. This simple daily cleanser has no fragrance, is non-stripping, non-drying, hydrates without feeling heavy, and rinses clean with no residue or tightness, yet is highly effective at rinsing impurities away and allowing your skin to breathe again. You only need a pea size amount and one tube looks like it will go a LONG way. I've been using it daily for around 4 weeks. It's nice and creamy, no bold aromas, and cleans my face well. I always use an astringent after my shower and my face was definitely clean. After about a week I did notice my skin was more even toned and smooth. I tend to have oily skin and this did not increase that or cause any dryness. I did not have any breakouts either. Overall I would say this is a great product. I looked online at prices and I'm not sure, given the 4 week trial, I would be willing to pay the going rate for this product. Seems a little expensive to me. I'd love to try some other items from this line though. I'd also love to report once I stop using this trial cleanser how my skin feels..
