The Maxaline 3/8 in. x 3 ft. Lead-In Air Hose is made of a flexible rubber material that is designed for long life and has a non-marring, Frag, oil and abrasion resistant cover. Lead-In Air Hoses of this length are designed to connect tools to line hoses and air hose reels. They act in part as a sacrificial component, protecting the longer, more valuable hoses from intense wear which greatly extends their service life. The female end connects to the main hose, while the solid brass swivel end gives the tool extra range of motion to prevent the hose from getting twisted and tangled as you move around and change positions. Solid brass end connectors never corrode and seal better against leaking than aluminum, steel, or zinc.
