This watch really is just as beautiful in person as it is online. The roman numerals set against the pearl watch face and patterned panel is absolutely gorgeous. Originally I thought it strange that there was no second hand, seeing as how a the continuous sweeping second hand is one of the trademarks of an automatic but after further research, I found the lower sub dial is actually the second hand and my brother informed me that was how automatics were originally designed so that made me ok with buying it. The window showing the mechanism is subtle but still lets you know it's an automatic. The leather band is comfortable and fits properly. Overall, this is a nicely stated gentleman's watch that can be worn at the office, around town, and to dinner.
