I have a 10 month old who insists on feeding himself.If I leave a tray,the food flies everywhere.If I just put it on his tray,it's another mess.These bowls are suctioned and they don't come off of his high chair or Bumbo easily.This gives us an opportunity for me to feed him,hands free,while he has a spoon to feed himself.I love that the bowls come with a cover.I was able to pack his purees and chopped food separately and they didn't leak.The spoons are sturdy but soft at the same time.The bowls come in three sizes.I used the smallest for his breakfast,the larger for chopped veggies and fruits,and the middle size for a chopped sandwich(I hate using zip lock bags for everything).
