Light weight, compact super telephoto zoom lens with high AF performance
"AF-P lens" which adopted a stepping motor for AF drive and realized high-speed quiet AF.
Smoother and quiet AF is also suitable for movie shooting.
While it is a super telephoto zoom lens covering up to a focal length of 300 mm, it achieves compactness and light weight while also incorporating a VR mechanism of 4.0 shake correction effect (CIPA standard compliant) that supports super telephoto shooting.
With the adoption of the ED lens, it has excellent optical performance with less chromatic aberration, and it is active in various scenes such as snap shooting, athletic meetings, presentation sessions.

For D5300 / D3300, M / A mode setting (valid / invalid) by "focus ring operation at AF setting" menu and focus ring end point warning display function at manual focus are not supported.
