Join this exciting exploration at Mutianyu Great Wall of China! Compared to other sections of the Great Wall, this section offers a more challenging climb to experience the greatest masterpiece ever built by human hands.
Muntianyu Great Wall's section served as the northern barrier to defend the capital and the imperial tombs. It includes 22 watchtowers, built in a unique and particular form and structure. Mutianyu is the most impressive section of the Great Wall of China and is accessible from Beijing.
It is known for the beauty of its precipitous terrain which runs along the high mountain ridges. In order to more easily enjoy the panoramic views, this tour includes convenient access up and down the hill by cable car.
On your journey up to Mutianyu, you will stop at a Jade factory to learn Chinese jade ancient culture. For lunch, savour a typical home-style meal served at a farmer’s courtyard. Lastly, experience a traditional and relaxing tea ceremony on your way back.
