Kopi Luwak coffee, also known as “Civet Coffee,” is collected from coffee berry beans which have been digested by the Asian Palm civet in Sumatra. The Asian civet eats the ripest berries for their fleshy pulp which allows the proteolytic enzymes in its stomach to percolate into the beans.

This process breaks down the proteins in the green beans creating a unique exotic flavor. Once the Civet expels the coffee beans through its feces farmers will then collect it for processing.

Due to the exclusive nature of this preparation, the beans are highly precious. The rarity of Kopi Luwak dictates the price. Quality is superb and therefore it is known as the rarest, most aromatic and expensive coffee in the world. The aroma is rich and strong with a hint of chocolate that lingers on the tongue.

Below are some of the health benefits of consuming Kopi Luwak.

Our Civet coffee from Gayo does not taste the same as other Kopi Luwak in the market. Wild civets may consume a variety of different beans elsewhere, but ours civets consistently consume luscious coffee beans which are sourced directly from our organic plantations. The end result is a product that is well known for its taste, aroma and quality.

Our variations of Arabica beans are privately sourced and packaged meticulously.

Serving Suggestion : Put one table spoon of civet coffee powder 8gm into a cup.  Pour 150  ml boiling water into it.  Add sufficient amount of sugar as you need it.  Stir it up slowly until they are dissolved.  Cover up the cup and wait for 4 minutes before serving.  Civet coffee will be more enjoyable when it is served without adding any sugar.
