The dog Paw Balm is applied by using a finger or an ear bud to scrape the surface of the ointment, which is then applied onto the paw balm or affected skin areas ( elephant skin ) or bare skin that has been shaved. It is best used before the dog rests or goes to sleep. Basically leave the applied area to rest for at least 15 to 20mins before the area applied can be exposed to surface contacts as it takes around that long to seep into the skin.
