The newest addition to the Nuxe Cleansers with Rose Petals family is the Melting Cleansing Gel, a balancing wash for normal to combination skin types. Like the Micellar Foam Cleanser, it’s designed for those who favour freshness over nourishment when cleansing. Unlike the Foam, however, this one is designed specifically with make-up removal in mind.

Though the texture of the Melting Cleansing Gel is quite rich, it blend beautifully with water to create a refreshing milk-gel hybrid. Its base is made with gentle a gentle coconut derivative to melt away make-up effortlessly, while added macadamia oil protects the skin from dryness without overloading it.

Who is it for? Normal to combination skin types who want to make sure all of their make-up is gone in the evening, but don’t want their skin to feel oily or sticky.

Nuxe Gentle Toning Lotion 100ml (worth $20)

The Nuxe Gentle Toning Lotion is all about redressing the balance after cleansing. The soft, alcohol-free formula is made up of four key ingredients: Damascene rose water for softness, coconut derivative for gentle cleansing, witch hazel water to smooth and hyaluronic acid to give skin a moisture boost.

Apply to a cotton pad and sweep around the face to catch leftover cleanser, and once more to infuse the wonderfully soothing, softening and plumping ingredients into the skin. Like all of the Nuxe Cleansers with Rose Petals, its delicate rose scent makes cleansing a lovely ritual.

Who is it for? Perfect for all skin types, particularly dry and sensitive, this toning lotion is an ideal finishing touch to give skin an added boost before moisturiser.

Nuxe launched its first cleansing range enriched with rose petals which is dedicated to sensitive skin with a soothing and softening action in 2012.Last year,they introduced an essential complementary care that completes the cleansing range-Refreshing Moisturizing Mist with Rose Petals.In my opinion,mist is not something that we've to use everyday as I only use when I feel my skin needs it.However,it has been a key trend in Asia and has become an essential product to complete the skincare and makeup routine.It also can multitask-hydrate,set makeup etc.Knowing that mist market will keep expanding,Nuxe took this opportunity to offer a mist for sensitive skin and based on naturality.

The high tolerance formula is due to active ingredients selected for their soothing and softening properties,pH is close to 5.5,skin pH.It's allergen and paraben-free.96% ingredients of natural origin and absolutely suitable for all skin types.

Rose Damacesna petals:used since antiquity for its soothing and softening properties,rich in active molecules. Allantoin:Recognized for its soothing,softening and regenerating properties.

It's light and quite small size,easy to be carried around and can be brought up to airplane as well.Remember,don't spray near to your face because it will stay on surface and slow down the rate of absorption.Just straighten your hand(30-40cm) and spray(not under the fan),you'll feel the droplets formed are so fine and absorbed by skin easily.Skin will be instantly refreshed and awaken!The fresh,subtle and floral notes(bergamote,petitgrain,honeysuckle,cyclamen,ylang,heliotrope) associated to the floral water of rose damascena.It soothes skin and brings down temperature immediately.Skin is fresh,smoother and hydrated after using this mist.Overall,it's quite good but some may feel the scent is a bit overwhelming.

The Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Dry Oil is the best kind of product. It’s a multi-purpose workhorse; luxurious and effective in that effortless sort of way that makes you wonder why you’d ever use anything else. There’s a reason a bottle sells somewhere in the world every 6 minutes, after all. It’s an icon!

The history

Huile Prodigieuse was created 20 years ago by Nuxe’s President Aliza Jabes. Being an active, young mother she wanted a multifunctional body product that was quick to apply without compromising on care. The result was this unique plant-based dry oil, which conditions and improves the look of the skin and hair in one beautifully-scented step.

The result

Upon application, the most striking thing about the oil is that it truly isn’t greasy. In fact, swipe your hand over your skin a few seconds after application and you’ll find that you can’t feel any residue at all. This is because the formula is made with a 30% concentration of precious plant oils which have a very fine texture, including borage oil to hydrate, St John’s wort to relax, almond oil to repair, hazelnut oil to moisturise, macadamia to condition  and camellia to impart its natural anti-ageing benefits. The 98% natural oil doesn’t contain silicon (no artificial slip or gloss here), mineral oils or preservatives, and has a generous infusion of Vitamin E to provide antioxidant protection.

The variations

The oil is available in a spray or a splash format, depending on how you prefer to apply. Aside from the classic Huile Prodigieuse, Nuxe also produces a shimmering version: the Huile Prodigieuse Or. Made up of glimmering particles, it laces the skin with the most beautiful golden sheen. The finish is less sparkle, more of a pearlescent lustre, and it is most detectable in sunlight (summer staple alert).

The oils feature the non-photosensitive, summery fragrance of mandarin, orange blossom, vanilla and coconut milk. The fragrance is so popular that Nuxe created a matching plant oil-enriched tinted moisturiser with its delectable aroma, Teint Eclat Prodigieux, which enlivens the complexion with glowing pigments, as well as the nourishing Baume Prodigieux Levres balm-gloss.

How to use

I love a multi-purpose product that does more than what it says on the tin. Huile Prodigieuse is a great example of this, From everyday maintenance to special occasion wear, it’s probably the most versatile skincare product that I own! Here are some of my favourite ways to use it:

– Pre-moisturiser as  ‘body serum’ to intensively hydrate and tone

– A few drops mixed in with night cream for extra nourishing benefits

– Rubbed on to cuticles to soften and condition

– Applied to a hairbrush and brushed through the mid-lengths to the ends of the hair

– A concentrated amount applied to the ends of the hair to swell the hair cuticle and minimises the look of damage

– A small amount dotted down the centre of the legs as a highlighter on a night out

– Applied to pulse points as a fragrance oil

– Plus, if you’re in a bind, the concentration of oils makes a fantastic eye make-up remover (remember to cleanser afterwards!)

When I learn that this new range of skincare from NUXE Nirvanesque offer the euphoria of de-stressed skin and it's also the alternative to BOTOX.. how can I not try them, right?!?!?!?! (lolx)
