It is larger and covers more of the shoulder than other styles, measuring 15 inches by 15 inches with 1 inch thickness. It is softer and spreads out more, providing more coverage of hot and cold treatment and less weight concentrated in one area. The area behind the neck on the neck wrap is 6 inches long and reaches the shoulder blades in order for the microwavable neck heat wrap to get into the areas where people need it most. The fabric of the neck heat wrap is made of 100% cotton. It is safer from fires because it has a higher burn point than pillows made of polyester, however users should still be careful of overheating their pillows. The fabric on this microwavable neck heat wrap is thinner than that of other pillows so you can feel the hot and cold more directly.
