A-Silicone Impression Material Putty  

Two-part, platinum cured silicone mold making system that is safe and so easy to use. It works beautifully with resins, low temperature melt metal alloys, paper and air dry clays, polymer clay, wood putty, chocolate and more! Excellent for vertical, small or hard-to-reach areas. Non-toxic and food safe, DIY Putty can be baked at up to 300°F constant temperature or 600°F intermittently. No special equipment, tools or release agents are needed.

Silicone Plastique Equal Parts A & BSilicone Plastique® has the consistency of clay. Equal amounts of Part A (blue) and Part B (white) are scaled by weight or volume. Equal Parts Of Silicone Plastique Are MixedParts A and B are combined and kneaded until a uniform color is achieved. Silicone Plastique® can be flattened by hand or rolled with a pin between sheets of plastic.

Making Mold With Silicone Plastique Mold PuttyA small amount of plastique is rubbed into detail of a medallion. The medallion is pressed into Silicone Plastique® that has been rolled out twice the thickness of the medallion. Cured Silicone PlastiqueSilicone Plastique® has a work time of about 10 minutes and a cure time of about an hour at room temperature. Silicone Plastique® should be allowed to fully cure before removing medallion.

Pouring Chocolate Into Mold Made From Silicone PlastiqueChocolate is poured into cured mold. Finished Product Unmolded From Silicone Plastique MoldWith a flex of the mold, a perfect chocolate copy of the medallion pops out of the mold, ready to garnish your favorite dessert.

 

 

 

Remember that you will have a very small amount of time to mix the material before it starts to harden. It's best to get use to kneading the 
mixture in under a minute, 30 seconds is ideal. I know this sounds short, but if you count to 30 while kneading it's plenty of time. This is easiest 
when you are making small (1" to 2") sized molds. If you are planning to make molds for larger items, especially items measuring over 4" I would 
not recommend this compound. This is ideal for jewelry / art doll making.
