Phosphate and Silicate enter the aquarium through water changes and over time can build up to detrimental levels. High levels of phosphate and silicate often result in cloudy aquarium conditions and unwanted algae blooms. Use PhosRid to control these conditions. This product is a high capacity filtering agent that quickly adsorbs high levels of phosphate and silicate and permanently removes them from the water. The result is a healthy environment for fish, corals and plants. PhosRid does not interfere with biological filtration and does not affect the pH of water.
