Active Ingredients Each Teaspoonful (5 mL): Dextromethorphan HBr 15 mg; *Chlorpheniramine Maleate 2 mg
Directions Follow dosage chart. Do not exceed four doses in any 24 hour period. Adults: 2 teaspoonfuls (10 mL) every 6-8 hours. Children 12 years old and older: Consult a doctor. Children under 12 years old: DO NOT USE. Store at 20 degrees - 25 degrees C (68 degrees - 77 degrees F).

Uses Temporarily relieves cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation as may occur with a cold. Quiets and clams a dry cough. Warnings DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT TO SEDATE CHILDREN. Do not use: more than the recommended dosage; if you are taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI); (certain drugs for depression psychiatric or emotional conditions or Parkinson`s disease) or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product. When using this product: *May cause drowsiness. Alcohol sedatives and tranquilizers may increase the drowsiness effect. Avoid alcoholic beverages while taking this product if you are taking sedatives or tranquilizers without first consulting your doctor. Use caution when driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery. Ask a doctor before use if you have: Persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking asthma chronic bronchitis or emphysema or if cough is accompanied by excessive phlegm. Difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostate gland. Glaucoma. Stop use and ask a doctor if: Cough lasts more than seven days returns or is accompanied by fever rash or persistent headache. These could be signs of a serious condition.
